Employees of the Office for the Environment and Urban Greenery selected 62 trees for the two nature trails. A QR code on each tree leads to the corresponding website with detailed explanations.
Nature trail 1 starts at the subway terminus opposite Rigalsche Wiese. Nature trail 2 starts opposite the "Stadthalle" parking lot next to the tennis court.
Two large overview signs at the start of each nature trail serve as orientation aids for finding the trees and further information on urban trees. These boards are also provided with QR codes, which allow the relevant pages to be easily accessed via mobile devices.
Each tree on the nature trail is also equipped with a plaque providing information about the plant.
