(1) The general curfew is lifted on the following days:
New Year's Eve (night from December 31 to January 1);
on the days of carnival:

(2) The general closing time begins during the events of the "Pützchens Markt" funfair around the second Sunday in September (nights from Friday to Saturday up to and including Tuesday to Wednesday) for the participants of the funfair on the nights from Friday to Saturday and Saturday to Sunday at 3 am, on the nights from Sunday to Monday and Monday to Tuesday at 1 am and on the night from Tuesday to Wednesday at midnight. Any person who negligently or intentionally operates a restaurant business within the closing time specified in Section 1 (2) of this ordinance in contravention of Section 28 (1) no. 12 of the German Restaurant Act shall be deemed to have committed an administrative offense. § 3
This Ordinance shall enter into force on January 1, 2010. It shall expire on December 31, 2029.
