"PopUp office" creates additional appointments during the travel season

Overview

The successful "PopUp Office" model is being relaunched: additional appointments for ID cards at the Citizens Service Center

The "PopUp Office" has been a great enrichment and support in its previous three rounds, which is why the Citizens Service Center of the City of Bonn will once again provide additional appointments for applying for final and temporary travel and ID documents in this way, for a limited period of time until mid-June 2025.

In the period from March 24, 2025 until probably June 12, 2025, the appointment options will be extended accordingly. To this end, the Citizens Service Center, in close cooperation with the training department, will set up the so-called "PopUp Office" in the foyer of the City Hall for the fourth time. Trainees will be deployed here. Their support is intended to meet the consistently high demand for travel and ID documents, especially before the Easter and summer vacations.

The city administration advises citizens to check the validity of their ID documents today and to make an appointment in good time if their documents are due to expire soon. The offer to apply for temporary ID documents has also proven its worth and can be found as a corresponding request in the appointment options.

In addition to appointments at the Citizens Service Center and its branch offices in the Bad Godesberg, Beuel and Hardtberg districts, citizens have the opportunity to book appointments for their travel and ID documents at the "PopUp Office" in the City Hall foyer.

Important note: It is expressly pointed out that no applications for name changes or naturalization can be processed in the "PopUp Office" - these requests will continue to be processed exclusively in the Citizens Service Center.

The additional appointments can be booked immediately at  www.bonn.de/termine (opens in a new tab) and with the call center staff on  0228 - 776677. Depending on staff capacity, further appointments will also be made available on a daily basis from March 24.
