City of Bonn

Election workers

No election without poll workers. This page explains what tasks they have and how everyone can help with an election.

Anyone who is entitled to vote on election day can help with the election. The electoral boards meet at 7.30 a.m. on election day in the polling station notified to them in the notice convening the election. The election ends at 6 pm. The votes are then counted by the election committee.

For further information, please contact the electoral office of the City of Bonn, or apply using the application form linked below.

Interactive learning platform for election workers

Bonn has developed an online learning platform together with ten other major cities in North Rhine-Westphalia in a joint inter-municipal project initiated by the city itself.

Among other things, it includes a training film that can be used either in its entirety or - depending on requirements - in individual topic clips.

In addition, electoral assistants can use numerous other modules to prepare for their work in the polling station.

Would you like to support us as an election assistant? We look forward to receiving your application  using this form. (opens in a new tab)
