There are many different ways to park your car in Bonn, for example in one of the many  parking garages operated by Bonner City Parkraum GmbH (opens in a new tab). A total of around 4,500 spaces are available in the parking garages in the city center. There are also numerous parking options in the centers of Bad Godesberg, Beuel and Hardtberg.

The Park & Ride facilities in the city center allow for a stress-free onward journey to the city center. They are close to public transport stops so that visitors to the city or commuters can easily switch from their own car to buses and trains. The Park & Ride facilities are a good alternative to parking in the city center, especially on busy days such as the Christmas period.

There are a total of nine Park & Ride parking lots around the city with a total of 850 parking spaces. The facilities in Vilich, Ramersdorf, Bad Godesberg station, Rigal'sche Wiese and Duisdorf station are particularly attractive. The parking spaces here are particularly large and there are very good connections to public transport, freeways and main roads.

Tip: The two parking garages Museumsmeile (535 spaces) and Karl-Carstens-Straße (970 spaces) are located on the edge of the city center and are therefore rarely used. However, the city center can also be reached quickly from here by public transport or on foot. These parking garages can therefore be a good alternative, especially at busy weekends.

The Climate Day Ticket also makes the use of Park & Ride particularly attractive for groups and families. It allows up to five people to use buses and trains in Bonn together for 24 hours for 9.90 euros.

The City of Bonn will continue to expand the Park & Ride offer in order to improve accessibility to the city center and at the same time relieve the center of car traffic.
