The museum visits are based on the current curricula and enable activity-oriented and discovery-based learning. Pupils learn to explore museums independently - they acquire the "museum visit competence". The materials specially developed for the museum curriculum for preparation and follow-up make it possible to link museum visits and lessons.
Here, children are empowered for lifelong participation in cultural education.

The Bonn museum curriculum at a glance:
- Class 1
What is a museum, what can you experience and learn about here? Why do we collect things? We explore the whole museum! - Class 2
We use all our senses to discover exhibits and their meanings and effects. Our perception is individually different and unique. - Class 3
There are a variety of methods, games, tasks and approaches for exploring exhibits in the museum. We use language creatively to describe, discuss and express ourselves. - Class 4
Exhibits are presented in different ways in the museum. How can we show things ourselves and make them tangible? We plan our own exhibition.
