The Kunstmuseum Bonn is accessible for people with walking disabilities and wheelchair users. Since its opening in 1992, the art museum has focused its art education on needs-oriented and inclusive offers. These include

• Art workshops for children from the age of six, young people and adults with support and assistance needs
• "Searching for art traces": open workshops for people with mental illness and anyone interested in art
• Guided tours with a focus on picture descriptions (for the visually impaired) and in plain language
• Offers for special schools and inclusive classes
  Cooperation with care facilities
• Training courses on museum education and artistic work with people with disabilities

The Stadtmuseum Bonn is located on the first and second floors at Franziskanerstraße 9, but is accessible for people with walking disabilities and wheelchair users.

The Stadtmuseum offers two 90-minute guided tours especially for visually impaired and blind people, during which touching is expressly permitted. A large number of replicas of historical exhibits are available for this purpose. The guided tours cover the eras "From the Stone Age tomb in Bonn-Oberkassel to the Electors" and "From 19th century Bonn to the economic miracle after the Second World War".
