The City of Bonn, represented by the Städtische Gebäudemanagement (SGB) as the client, is currently implementing the restoration and modernization of the Beethovenhalle Bonn in line with its listed status in favour of a multifunctional use with a classical focus. It is being supported in this by the Berlin office "dbp das bauprojekt GmbH", which carried out a comprehensive project analysis in mid-2022, followed by a concept development to stabilize the project. In the person of Steffen Göbel, the office performs the function of project management.

On September 1, 2025, the Beethovenhalle will be handed over to Bonn CC Management GmbH as the user for trial operations. The reopening ceremony will take place on December 16, 2025 with the Beethoven Night concert.
