The area of the parking space concept is essentially limited by the following streets: Kölnstraße, Lievelingsweg, Dorotheenstraße, Ellerstraße, Thomastraße, Heerstraße, Bornheimer Straße, Berliner Platz and Oxfordstraße. In future, residents will be able to park "free" in the entire management area by purchasing a resident parking permit. At the same time, people who do not live in the area can buy a ticket for a fee from the more than 70 parking ticket machines.
In future, parking in the "inner Nordstadt" residents' parking area will cost two euros per half hour (zone 1) from Monday to Saturday between 8 am and 10 pm. Alternatively, there is the option of purchasing a day ticket for 16 euros. The area is essentially bounded by the following streets: Kölnstraße, Kaiser-Karl-Ring, Hochstadenring, Thomastraße, Heerstraße, Bornheimer Straße, Berliner Platz and Oxfordstraße.
A further residents' parking area will be set up in the "outer Nordstadt". It is bounded by the following streets: Hochstadenring Kaiser-Karl-Ring, Kölnstraße, Lievelingsweg, Dorotheenstraße, Ellerstraße and Thomastraße. In future, parking tickets will cost one euro per 30 minutes or twelve euros per day (zone 3) from Monday to Saturday between 8 am and 8 pm.
In both residents' parking areas, parking for car-sharing cars is free of charge in spaces that are signposted with the combination "with parking ticket/resident free". There is no maximum parking duration. The city will inform businesses about the conditions under which exemptions for company vehicles are possible. Questions about this can already be directed to the road traffic authority ag-parkenbonnde
