Erna Neubauer held the honorary office of Obermöhn and President of the Alte Beueler Damenkomitee von 1824 e.V. for 25 years with great dedication. During this time, she further developed the essential components of Weiberfastnacht in Beuel - e.g. the proclamation of the Wäscherprinzessin and the Rathaussturm - and significantly increased awareness of this unique Beuel tradition. She also motivated a large number of other women to volunteer in the growing number of Beuel ladies' committees and thus put Beuel's customs on broad shoulders. Erna Neubauer passed away in December 2022.

The naming is to take place in the anniversary session "200 years of Weiberfastnacht in Beuel" at the beginning of 2024. The Beuel district council had already decided to name the northern part of the Rheindamm after Hans Lennarz at the beginning of 2023.
