Counseling center at the school board for the city of Bonn
Parents who move to Bonn and are looking for a suitable school place for their school-age children and young people without sufficient knowledge of German have a special advice center at the school authority for the city of Bonn. Advice is currently only available by e-mail in German or English: ifkbonnde
The advice center has qualified educational staff who are particularly familiar with the problems specific to immigrants. From here, contact is made with a suitable school that can admit the pupils to regular classes or specific support measures.
You will need these documents for the appointment:
- Passport
- Previous school reports (if available), preferably with a certified translation
- an interpreter if necessary.
