The area-related subjects of production, service and business organization jointly prepare students for everyday work situations and impart basic knowledge and skills in the areas of gastronomy and home economics in theoretical and practical lessons.
In addition, practical knowledge and skills are acquired in 4 work placements of 4 weeks each.
The general education subjects German, English, mathematics, politics, religion and sport complete the curriculum.
Both courses offer the opportunity and orientation for careers in the hotel and catering industry, supply management and the food trade. In addition, practical knowledge and skills are acquired in a 6-week internship in the field of nutrition and supply management.

Vocational school I (BFE I):
Extended first school-leaving certificate (Hauptschulabschluss after year 10)

Vocational school II / BFE II:
Intermediate school leaving certificate: Fachoberschulreife FOR, possibly with qualification
