The town center of Muffendorf is of great historical and design significance and is particularly valuable. It is characterized in a special way by its historically evolved village structure, homogeneous development and a very coherent, historically significant townscape. The topographically shaped village structure with Muffendorf's main street as the urban backbone and the high density of preserved architectural monuments reflect the development of the street village on the Rhine in a particularly vivid way. The center of Muffendorf is appreciated by many people today and should be even better protected in the future.

The city administration has commissioned the "STADTGUUT" office to draw up a monument area statute and a design manual for the historic town center. At the event, citizens will be informed about the background and effects of a monument area statute, open questions will be answered and the following questions will be discussed together: What characterizes the village center of Muffendorf? Which features do you think are particularly worth protecting? What other issues should be given special consideration in the further development of the town center?
