City of Bonn

Voters' register for the Bundestag election is available

People in Bonn who are entitled to vote will receive their voter's notification for the Bundestag election on February 23 by February 2, 2025 at the latest. Anyone who has not yet received a notification in their letterbox by the deadline but believes they are eligible to vote can inspect the electoral roll at the electoral office from Monday to Friday, February 3 to 7, and lodge an objection if necessary.

The electoral office in the City Hall (floor 4B), Berliner Platz 2, is open for inspection of the electoral roll as follows: Monday and Thursday from 8 am to 4 pm and Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 am to 1 pm.

Ballot papers will be available at the polling stations from February 8

Ballot papers are expected to be available at polling stations from Saturday, February 8. From then until February 21, eligible voters can obtain postal voting documents on site, fill them out directly and post them in. Due to the shortened deadlines for the early Bundestag elections, the opening hours of the polling stations will be extended from February 8:

  • Saturday, February 8, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Monday and Thursday from 8 am to 6 pm
  • Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 am to 4 pm
  • Friday, February 14, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Saturday, February 15, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Friday, February 21, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The electoral office asks you to visit the polling station in your home borough if possible, but the four polling stations are generally open to all citizens.
