The fees for administrative services - such as processing applications for the reallocation or renewal of burial rights, issuing certificates and permits - will be reduced by around ten percent on average. In future, a new allocation will cost 108.29 euros instead of 132.06 euros, the issuing of a replacement certificate for the right of use will fall from 27.51 euros to 22.56 euros, and the approval for memorials or grave borders will amount to 90.12 euros instead of 91.95 euros.
The costs for equipment for care-free graves, including memorial stones and nameplates, will also fall. In 2024, a horizontal memorial stone will cost 299.29 euros instead of 313.20 euros, while the contribution for a name plaque at the North Cemetery will fall from 98.95 euros to 90.16 euros.
Costs for graves standardized
The fees for the same types of graves at different cemeteries have been standardized. This applies, for example, to elective graves, which are no longer differentiated according to denomination. Row and elective graves throughout Bonn will now cost 96.63 euros instead of 106.98 euros per year. However, the adjusted prices will also result in higher fees for the care-free urn graves in the cemetery grove at Heiderhof cemetery. They now cost 126.95 euros per year throughout the city.
Increased personnel costs influence fees
Due to higher personnel costs, the contributions for personnel-intensive services will also increase. These include coffin burials, grave maintenance and reburials. For example, burial in a row grave will now cost 877.42 euros instead of 805.24 euros, and grave maintenance fees will rise from 184.67 euros to 214.79 euros per year.
The prices for urn burials have only changed by a few cents. They now cost 271.43 euros. Burial in an ashes field or in a columbarium has become slightly cheaper because the time required for the employees there has been reduced. In 2024, both types of burial will cost 246.90 euros.
