Flea markets are not subject to approval if they are

• one-off (not regularly recurring) and
• on private premises and
• from private to private.

A special use permit is required for flea markets that

• pursue a non-profit or charitable purpose.
• Available areas for this are exclusively in the city center on Friedensplatz, Bottlerplatz and Mülheimerplatz.
• Fixed dates for flea markets in the city center are the first Saturday or alternatively the third Thursday of the month.
• The amount of the fee depends on the individual case and can be obtained from the responsible employee.

A permit is required for flea markets that

• held by commercial organizers on private land require a permit.
• Applications can be submitted to the employees listed below.
