We want a CO2-free Bonn. To achieve this, we have made three measures the focus of our efforts: the construction of  mobile stations, the building of  cycle routes and the conversion of the  city's vehicle fleet to electric mobility. Here we would like to explain to you exactly what this means and why we are doing it.

Environmentally friendly mobility is one of the most important ways to save CO2. That's why we at the City of Bonn are driving forward the mobility of the future as part of the "Emission-free city center" funding project. This will create incentives to leave the car at home and use emission-free alternatives. The aim is to reduce greenhouse gases and make our living space friendlier, quieter and freer.

"Emission-free city center" is a joint project of the City of Bonn and Stadtwerke Bonn. The European Regional Development Fund and the NRW Ministry of Economic Affairs are supporting this project. And we are proud that Bonn is one of the few cities with a convincing mobility concept that has been awarded the (financial) contract.
