The Representative for Rock and Pop Music in the Cultural Office is the contact person and intermediary for the field of rock and popular music.

The area of responsibility essentially comprises

• Acting as a guide, intermediary and interface within the administration for coordinating inquiries from rock and pop music stakeholders
• Holding regular consultation appointments for artists, agents and event organizers
• Support in the search for suitable venues for cultural events
• Supporting Bonn artists in their presentation abroad, taking into account the international concept of the City of Bonn with its project partnerships
• Support in the acquisition of third-party funding and the involvement of companies in the creative industries
• Development of supra-regional and international networks
• Planning, organization and implementation of music projects, concerts and pop cultural events of the Cultural Office (e.g. city garden concerts)
