According to the Sewer Self-Monitoring Ordinance (SüwV Kan), the condition of public sewers must be checked regularly as a statutory obligation.

This condition inspection is usually carried out by means of a sewer TV inspection. The inspections are carried out in conjunction with sewer cleaning, with the TV vehicle inspecting the previously cleaned sewers.

During the inspection, the sewer inspection is stored on a digital recorder. The stored data is then used to classify and assess the condition of the public sewer.

This data is stored in the sewer data information system and forms the basis for the wastewater disposal concept to be updated.
