Please note the following important information when planning your filming:

• All permits will only be issued with special consideration of the overriding public interest, in particular that of local residents and people with concerns.
• If you are planning measures such as the establishment of no-stopping zones or the closure of roads, please provide the necessary information in the questionnaire and send detailed sketches. Only vehicles required for production purposes may be parked in the no-stopping zone. The parking of private vehicles in which employees arrive is not permitted in these zones.
• As a rule, only intermittent closures of a maximum of 3 minutes are permitted. Full closures are only permitted in exceptional cases.
• All residents directly affected by the filming must be informed of the filming and the associated measures at least 96 hours before the start of filming by posting flyers. A sample copy of this flyer must be attached to the application as well as a list of the streets in which the flyers will be distributed.
• In order to avoid complaints from citizens and residents, the affected residents must be contacted personally in advance in the event of extensive filming. They must be fully informed about possible restrictions or disruptions. If necessary, alternatives should also be discussed with the aim of finding a solution that is acceptable to all parties involved.
• If measures are applied for that entail exceptional disruption for local residents (night-time shooting scenes or particularly extensive no-stopping zones and closures), a list of signatures of the affected residents must be submitted with the application on request, stating that the residents have been informed about the planned measures and have no objections.
• In your own interest, coordinate all measures planned as part of the filming with the city administration as the responsible approval authority before selecting or booking a filming motif, especially with a private provider.
• If you have any queries, please provide us with the names and contact details of the people providing the motifs (including individual contact persons if necessary).
• When issuing permits for filming in Bonn, it is assumed that the filming location Bonn will be mentioned in the later broadcast of the production (in the credits as well as in publications on the Internet or in press releases). Please inform us in good time of the broadcast date.
• If waste water enters the public sewage system during filming, only substances that can be degraded in the sewage treatment plants may be used. For example, the use of artificial snow or film blood may make it necessary to take a closer look at the substances used and possibly obtain a special use permit. The event coordinator will inform you whether this is also necessary for your filming and name the responsible contact person at the civil engineering office.
• When filming in municipal cemeteries, the special dignity of the location and the operation of the cemetery must be taken into consideration. Due to the usual cemetery operations, the Office for the Environment and Urban Greenery should be informed in good time. The Office for the Environment and City Greenery charges a flat fee per hour or part thereof or a maximum fee per day of filming. Special services (such as the preparation of a grave) will be charged separately.

• Plans in which you should draw the requested measures (no-stopping zones, road closures , etc.) with the desired time period and the locations of the structures such as camera rails, generators, lamps , etc. You can create the plan using the online city map, which you can find under "Forms and links".

Fees are payable for the granting of exemptions, which are calculated on a case-by-case basis according to the administrative costs incurred.
