You can use the online form under "Forms and links" to report a non-road traffic offense (e.g. noise pollution, illegal waste disposal, dog not on a leash). Only specific violations that have already been committed in the past can be sanctioned. Preventive measures cannot be enforced as part of an administrative offense procedure.

If you wish to report a traffic offense (e.g. parking violations), you can do so under "Report a parking violation". You will find the link for this under "Forms and links".

Only the person who observed or detected the offense can file a report. The report must state the location, the day and time of the offense. The terms "regularly", "always" or "every day" are too vague.

Fine proceedings against unknown persons without any further starting points cannot be carried out.

Please note that if you report an offense, you will be named as a witness with your address in the fine notice. Anonymous reports will not be processed.

If you would like to have your matter checked on site, you can contact the control center of the city regulatory service on 0228 - 77 33 33. The control center can be reached by telephone from Monday to Friday between 7 am and 1 am and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays between 10 am and 1 am.

Outside these times, the Bonn police can be contacted on 0228 - 15-0 in urgent cases.
