The city archive is the memory of the city of Bonn. It stores, evaluates, takes over and indexes official and private documents in the city of Bonn and makes them available for use. It also supplements its holdings through targeted collecting and advises on research into the city's history, for which the special library is also available. The City Archive and City History Library as well as the third subject area, the City History Documentation, are there for all citizens, regardless of whether they have a personal request or are conducting academic research.
