The entire team of the CDO staff unit, consisting of the CDO, the CDO office and the digital promoters, is driving the digital transformation process of the City of Bonn with its work.
It supports and advises project managers, office managers and department heads on digitalization projects. For the digitalization strategy, data collection of benchmarks such as the annual Bitkom survey
and the organization and official registration of various activities for the annual nationwide Digital Day.
In order to strengthen the community as a supporter of the digital transformation of the administration, the CDO team designs and organizes network meetings for digital pilots, digital conferences and other digital formats.

Furthermore, the CDO staff unit is in charge of the "Digital Transformation Steering Committee - LADT" and is therefore also primarily responsible for the portfolio of digitalization projects.
