It is possible to bury individual deceased pets, for example dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and similar small animals, on your own property. The animal's body must be covered with a 50-centimeter-thick layer of earth.
The prerequisite for burial on your own property is, however, that the property is not located in a water protection area and that the burial of the pet has been approved by the veterinary services.
If you have decided to bury your pet on your own property, please contact the veterinary services of the city of Bonn - preferably by telephone or e-mail.
