This is a current message from the Adult Education Center Bonn
The first "Open Garden Meeting" in the "Garden of Education" starts in March. Every Wednesday between March and October, master gardener Dominik Block will show what work needs to be done in the garden throughout the year.
On the first Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 5 p.m., the topic will be raised beds. Raised beds and tubs offer optimal solutions for gardening "up high" without open soil. The tricks and special features that need to be considered will be illustrated in the Garden of Education using the example of the in-house raised bed boxes.
With the "Garden of Education", the Adult Education Center in Bonn has created an opportunity to actively participate in the design of an ecological kitchen garden. Individual workshops with registration are supplemented by the "Open Garden Meeting" without registration. All dates, further information and a registration form can be found at www.vhs-bonn.de. (opens in a new tab) The following applies to both offers: Participation is expressly encouraged!
The meeting point is in front of the iron gate between the Haus der Bildung and Windeckbunker at Budafokpark - despite the current building site.
