Elke Vlaminck becomes Managing Director of Stadtentwicklungsgesellschaft Bonn

Elke Vlaminck is to become the Managing Director of Stadtentwicklungsgesellschaft (SEG) Bonn GmbH, which was founded at the beginning of 2024. The City of Bonn Council approved an appointment for a period of five years at its meeting on June 24. The contract is due to be signed next week.

Elke Vlaminck has been appointed Managing Director of Stadtentwicklungsgesellschaft Bonn.

"In Elke Vlaminck, we have gained a confident leader and experienced project developer," says Mayor Katja Dörner. "With her at the helm of the company, we want to jointly develop the urban areas in a high-quality manner in terms of urban planning, climate and ecology and, above all, drive forward the creation of affordable housing."

"I am very much looking forward to the new challenge and the opportunity to play an active role in shaping Bonn's urban development. My aim is to implement sustainable projects that not only meet urban planning requirements, but also ecological and social ones. Together with my team, I want to help ensure that Bonn remains a liveable and sustainable city in which affordable housing is also created," says Elke Vlaminck.

Elke Vlaminck is 40 years old and lives in Cologne. A trained draughtswoman, she studied architecture at Cologne University of Applied Sciences and graduated in 2010. This was followed by a Master's degree in "Architecture: Project Development" at Bochum University of Applied Sciences. Elke Vlaminck is a member of the NRW Chamber of Architects and has been working for the Interboden Group (project development) since 2011, most recently as a senior project developer and since 2019 as an authorized signatory.
