The city sees this as a revitalization of the park, as it provides young people and adults with an opportunity to be creative. There is also a need for outdoor sports equipment throughout the city. The plans envisage the facility at the southern entrance to Medinghoven Park. After entering the park, you reach a traffic circle on the right at the level of the spacious lawn. Five graffiti walls form the boundary of an open gallery. In addition to different works of art, the appeal of an ensemble of artworks spread over several walls can also be explored. Seating is provided in the middle of the gallery, arranged around a planned large tree. Over the years, this will grow into the roof of the gallery.

This is followed by the open space with the sports box, to which the parkour facility is planned. This is deliberately designed to give schoolchildren in particular, but also the neighborhood, an introduction to this sport. At the same time, the facility has challenging training elements to create a transition to other facilities. Calisthenics elements are also integrated so that the facility offers a wide range of sports and training options. For reasons of species protection, no lighting is planned for the facility.
