1.10.2022 to 4.12.2022 in the Ernst Moritz Arndt House

The exhibition was dedicated to the rather unknown Bonn artist, bohemian, gallery owner, art school operator and lamp manufacturer Pitt Müller (1905-1975). It explored the artist's life and work and also looked at life in Bonn at the time:

The artist's biography was set against contemporary everyday views of the city of Bonn. His estate, consisting of sculptures, reliefs, handicrafts and design lamps, was brought together through extensive loans.

Pitt Müller's life was on display as a portrait of Bonn. Visitors were invited to add their own memories or objects to Müller's image. They could also discover other forgotten memories of Bonn between 1905 and 1975 and incorporate them into the exhibition.
