  • the placement office for foreign adoptions
Duration of storage and retention periods

Your data will be stored for 30 years at the City of Bonn for notarizations. The retention periods begin at the end of the year in which the child comes of age.

If we have not received your data from you, we will collect your data from the following sources only to the extent necessary in individual cases to fulfill the task:

  • the other parent or, if additional or different, the legal representative of your child
  • the person or body authorized by you
  • the responsible residents' registration office

  • the placement office for foreign adoptions
