The Event Coordination and Markets department is responsible for all public squares and events held in public spaces. This includes numerous event formats, from club festivals to major events. In addition to supporting and coordinating filming in Bonn, the event coordination department is also the point of contact for inquiries relating to event planning. The Markets department is the promoter and organizer of Bonn's largest folk festival "Pützchens Markt" and the Bonn Christmas market. It also looks after the weekly markets throughout the city. The numerous market events such as flea markets are also organized by this department.
