For decades, Franco-German friendship has been seen as the driving force behind European integration. However, this partnership has recently faced new challenges. Populist tendencies, diverging economic interests and differing visions for Europe's future are putting increasing pressure on relations between Berlin and Paris.
In this seminar, we will examine the current areas of tension in Franco-German relations. We will analyze historical milestones, discuss current conflicts and debate prospects for sustainable cooperation. We will also take a critical look at the role of both countries in the European Union.
New date: 17 - 19.11.2025. Registration is still possible.
