There must be more to come - the 20th anniversary tour
Personal, up close and groovingly funny - an evening with Michael Krebs is an event. The gifted songwriter and comedian has now been on stage for 20 years. To celebrate this, he is now on a big anniversary tour. Michael Krebs promises to bring a glittering evening to the stage, full to bursting with many of his hits and hilarious stories. Of course, there will also be new songs. After all, the evening is called "There must be more" and not "Enough is enough". And because the exiled Swabian loves contact with the audience and improvisation, every evening will be unique. Even during his music studies in Hamburg, Michael Krebs was the class clown.
However, the songwriter only learned that music and irony are his personal dream team on stage. On extensive tours in German-speaking countries, he gained a reputation as a captivating live artist. Over the years, he has developed significantly both musically and in terms of content. The playful comedy of the early years has now been joined by much more depth and his thematic spectrum has expanded to include socio-political issues.
His love of stylistic experimentation has taken him from appearances at the Open Air in Wacken, Nightwash and the 3sat festival to support shows for Alligatoah and Alfred Biolek. He founded the "Arbeitsgruppe Zukunft" with Marc-Uwe Kling and Julius Fischer. Krebs has released numerous albums solo and with his band, the "Pommesgabeln des Teufels", and has won over 20 comedy, cabaret and music awards. In 2023, he was nominated for the German Music Author Award.
