The LebensKunstMarkt, the festival for all the senses, is one of the most successful art and craft markets in Germany thanks to its Provençal specialties and relaxed vacation atmosphere. Almost 200 artists and artisans transform Remagen's city center into a large city gallery that invites visitors to stroll, enjoy and participate: Art - presented in a relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere. The city's galleries and artists' groups present special exhibitions and events. The Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck also takes part in the "ZeltGalerie im Historischen Dreieck".

The original Provençal market in this form is a special feature in Germany, for which the market traders travel exclusively from the markets in the south of France to Remagen with their southern French specialties. The French ambience is underlined by a variety of street artists who will make the audience laugh and be amazed. Another highlight will be the band "Le Lampion" playing French chansons on the Remagen market square on Saturday evening from 7.00 pm.

The LebensKunstMarkt, which takes place on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. throughout Remagen town center, has been supported for many years by the Kreissparkasse Ahrweiler and the Ahrweiler district administration as part of their cultural sponsorship. An open weekend for Remagen's retailers complements the attractive market events. The Roman Museum in the former RIGOMAGVS fort, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Frontiers of the Roman Empire - Lower Germanic Limes", is also worth a visit free of charge during the LebensKunstMarkt.

Enjoy a varied summer weekend in Remagen - with all your senses, just like in the south.
