In this workshop, we will provide a practical insight into how artificial intelligence (AI) works and its significance in young people's everyday lives. We will address how AI applications such as chatbots, recommendation algorithms and AI-generated content shape the lives of children and young people and discuss ethical and social issues. Using interactive exercises and examples, we will learn how to critically evaluate AI and discuss the opportunities and risks with young people.
