Learn all about the life and work of the world-famous composer during his time in Bonn on this tour. Ludwig van Beethoven was born in Bonn in 1770 and spent the first 22 years of his life here, which had a decisive influence on the rest of his life. On our Beethoven tour, we accompany you to the most important stations of the young Beethoven in his immediate Bonn environment.

Among other things, you will see the Beethoven House and Beethoven Monument as well as the historic Remigius Church with its wonderful cloister, where Ludwig van Beethoven played the organ for early mass at the age of ten. You can also take a look at his baptismal font in this church. A detour to the banks of the Rhine provides an impressive view of the course of the Rhine and the Siebengebirge mountains, which particularly inspired Beethoven as a self-confessed nature lover. The tour ends at the Beethoven House.

In German and English.

The tour can be booked at Bonn-Information and online at  bonnticket.de (opens in a new tab) (Tour C 7).

Our tip: Combine the tour with an independent visit to the Beethoven House. You will receive a reduced admission price after our guided tour.
