The German-Norwegian Friendship Society was founded in 1988. Its aim is to promote cultural, social and tourist relations between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Kingdom of Norway. Our approximately 3,000 members are organized in regional groups. Here, friends of Norway throughout Germany have the opportunity to regularly enjoy "Norwegian flair". They meet at around 200 events every year to learn about social, scenic and economic conditions and to cultivate cultural traditions. Experiences and insider tips are exchanged, and there is the opportunity to share your own interests.

Each regional group has its own program, which is designed by the members. In some groups, the Norwegian language is cultivated or language courses are organized. The regional contacts can be reached via the website www.dnfev.de.
