The Meindorf water protection area and partial catchment areas of the Urfeld water protection area are located in the Bonn city area. They include areas in the districts of Schwarz-Rheindorf, Vilich, Vilich-Müldorf, Geislar, Dransdorf, Tannenbusch and Buschdorf.

The water protection area ordinances contain restrictions that primarily affect commercial uses involving the handling of substances hazardous to groundwater. Please contact the  Lower Environmental Authority to obtain permits and to monitor compliance with prohibitions.
