• In the Macke district, the German Red Cross has taken on the task of neighborhood management with the support of the City of Bonn's Office for Social Affairs & Housing. Since September 2014, the neighborhood office has served as a contact point for citizens and as a meeting point for initiatives in the neighborhood. The aim is to strengthen the existing self-help potential, prevent loneliness and isolation and at the same time increase the attractiveness of living in the district.
