The aerial survey of the city commissioned by Bonn Netz GmbH and the Office for Land Management and Geoinformation - Office 62 to produce an up-to-date 3D city model and new aerial images has now been completed. Over a total of three days, the aerial photographer photographed the entire city area and the route of streetcar line 66 towards Siegburg from a vertical perspective and also as oblique aerial images from the four cardinal points. The flyover of the last block took place on Thursday, August 22, 2024.

The contracted company is now processing the huge volumes of data generated. The new aerial images are expected at the end of the year and the new 3D model in the first quarter of 2025.
