Indoor pollutants can be the cause of various health complaints. The sources are many and varied: solvents from paints and varnishes, formaldehyde from chipboard, wood preservatives from treated wood, plasticizers from PVC products and much more.
If levels are detected that require action, measures are defined to minimize the levels. These range from ventilation management and the elimination of sources to extensive refurbishment. Prior to reuse, the rooms are examined for the success of the remediation measures by means of so-called free measurements, if necessary. In new buildings, products that are as low in pollutants as possible are used in order to minimize pollution from the outset.
All measurements, expert opinions and other reports available to date can be accessed in the pollutant database. The database is constantly updated.
