GAP in Bonn - the queer youth center in Bonn

GAP in Bonn is a place for queer and trans*/non-binary teenagers and young adults aged 14 to 27 in a protected space. It is not important whether they are already out or not, nor whether they are already sure about their identity.

GAP in Bonn has an average of four open evenings per week

Two evenings (GAP for All*, Wednesdays and Fridays, 5 to 9 pm) are aimed at all young people who position themselves as queer and/or non-cis.

Two evenings are aimed at specific target groups: Trans and Enby Space - for trans and non-binary youth (Thursday, 5 to 9 pm), GAP of Color (Monday, 5 to 9 pm) for queer youth affected by racism or xenophobia (migrant or refugee youth).

GAP in Bonn focuses on working with those affected by discrimination in terms of sexual orientation or gender identity. In addition, GAP in Bonn also offers counseling for young people and their guardians or professionals from other facilities/institutions, for example school social workers. There are also special workshops and activities.
