The Integration Specialist Service (IFD) is a specialist advice center with a focus on "participation in working life" for people with disabilities. The IFD works on behalf of the Rhineland Regional Association.

In the field of school-to-work transition, the IFD supports pupils with disabilities and/or the need for special educational support within the framework of KAoA-STAR (KAoA= Kein Abschluss ohne Anschluss; STAR= Schule trifft Arbeitswelt).
In cooperation with the schools and the employment agency's rehabilitation advice service, prospects for employment in the general labor market are developed from the 8th school year onwards.
