1. aim and purpose
According to Section 7(2)(o) of the district statutes of the City of Bonn, the district of Beuel is responsible for granting subsidies to support local choral and instrumental clubs, local committees and other local clubs, associations and initiatives (with the exception of sports clubs).
Voluntary clubs and other associations - hereinafter only referred to as clubs - that are committed to the preservation and cultivation of customs and contribute to cultural and social life in the district of Beuel through events, children's and youth work and other activities or contribute to the promotion of environmental, nature or climate protection in the district are to be supported and promoted through financial grants.
2. scope and conditions of funding
2.1 | Grants are awarded to voluntary associations whose registered office is located in the district of Beuel and whose activities take place predominantly in the district of Beuel. The activities must correspond to the purpose of the association and achieve a sustainable impact on the public in accordance with paragraph 1. |
2.2 | The granting of subsidies is a voluntary service. They are only granted within the framework of the annual budget funds available. There is no legal entitlement. Grants are awarded in the form of lump sums and only upon written application. |
2.3 | The Beuel district administration office decides on the awarding of grants up to 200 euros, above this amount the Beuel district council decides. The Beuel district administration office informs the Beuel district council at the end of the year about the grants awarded under its own responsibility. |
2.4 | In deviation from these guidelines, a different amount may be granted in justified individual cases by resolution of the Beuel district council. When determining the specific amount of the grant, the special features of the associations and, in particular, the activities and contributions to life in the district must be taken into account. |

3.2 Associations for the preservation of local history and customs

The grants listed under 3.2.1 + 3.2.2 are paid out on application up to a maximum total application amount of EUR 1,200 per year. The order in which applications are submitted is decisive.

The grants listed under 3.3.1 - 3.3.2 are paid out on application up to a maximum total application amount of EUR 900 per year. The order in which applications are submitted is decisive.
3.4 St. Martin
3.4.1 | Organizers of St. Martin's processions per participating child (after written confirmation of the actual number of participants after the procession has taken place) |

4. granting of subsidies for club anniversaries
For anniversaries of associations in Beuel, a grant is awarded to support anniversary events in the amount of

For each additional 25th anniversary, the amount is based on the same basis as for the 100th anniversary.

6 Final provision and entry into force
All of the aforementioned regulations and deadlines apply subject to the approval of the budget and the release of funds by Department II.
These guidelines were adopted by the Beuel district council on 25.09.2024.
They come into force on 01.10.2024.
At the same time, all previous regulations on the granting of subsidies to clubs and other associations for the promotion of local history and customs as well as singing and instrumental clubs in the district of Beuel will cease to apply.
