Ulrich Keinath and Hans-Helmut Schild will jointly take over the interim management of Tourismus & Congress GmbH Region Bonn / Rhein-Sieg / Ahrweiler (T&C) and succeed Mr. Udo Schäfer, who was recalled and released from his duties on 15.02.2025. The shareholders' meeting followed the proposal of the T&C Supervisory Board under the leadership of Ms. Katja Dörner. The contract, which is limited until mid-2026, begins with effect from February 15, 2025.

Ulrich Keinath and Hans-Helmut Schild are also managing partners of Tourismusberatung projekt2508 GmbH, based in Bonn and Königswinter, which provides consulting, communication and mediation services in the culture and tourism sector. Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board Katja Dörner welcomes the Supervisory Board's decision: "Mr. Keinath and Mr. Schild have proven qualifications in the culture and tourism sector to begin implementing the realignment of T&C. I would also like to thank Udo Schäfer for his many years of service as Managing Director of T&C over the past 13 years.

T&C can look back on a 27-year history and exploits the advantages of being a company jointly supported by the public and private sectors. The company's objectives include increasing awareness and highlighting the advantages of the Bonn/Rhine-Sieg region as an attractive travel destination, promoting tourism in the region and positioning it in national and international competition.

In November 2024, the appointment process to find a regular management team for T&C was launched.
