Inner strength and a good life: People with Down syndrome share their perspectives

What does resilience mean? What is needed for a good life - today and in the future? These questions are the focus of a special event organized by VHS Bonn in cooperation with the Bonn City Library on April 8, 2025 from 6 to 7.30 p.m. in the Haus der Bildung (Mülheimer Platz 1, 53111 Bonn, Room 3.49).

The Ohrenkuss editorial team, a magazine made by people with Down syndrome, will read their own texts on the topic of "Inner Strength" on this evening. The authors share their personal thoughts on what gives them strength and how they maintain a strong heart. Angela Fritzen, editor at Ohrenkuss, expresses her feeling: "I need everything for the future... we also need to be in a good mood."

The event is also being held in cooperation with  ohrenkuss.de and offers space for authentic and inspiring insights into the lives of people with Down's syndrome.

Anyone interested is cordially invited to attend this special reading, listen and exchange ideas. Admission is free.
