26.4.2018 to 8.7.2018 at the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt-Haus Bonn

A subjective selection was shown in which, of course, the contrasting founding professors Schlegel and Arndt were once again involved. Also on the professors' side - without listing them all - were Brandis, Mackeldey, Walther, Windischmann, Welcker, Mendelssohn, Ritschl, Jahn, Clemens Theodor Perthes, Johannes Müller and Jacob Bernays, the last three of whom also studied in Bonn.

Among the students, the city museum once again devoted itself to Heine, Marx, Geibel and Nietzsche, as well as Rousseau, Hofmann von Fallersleben and Ludwig Simon. Ernst Curtius, Paul Heyse and Jacob Henle were also included, all of whom became celebrities, even if not in Bonn, or at least went down notable paths. And as far as is known and interesting, nothing has been left out that could be reported beyond research, teaching and the study of the individual protagonists of the exhibition.
