Musical spectrum ranges from classical to rock

Bonn has been known as a city of music since the time of the Electorate. This musical tradition has given rise to a diverse, lively and successful musical life in the city, which is enriched by numerous institutions, ensembles, groups and individuals.

A special obligation arises from the legacy of Ludwig van Beethoven, who was born in Bonn in 1770. The Beethoven Orchester Bonn is therefore one of Bonn's most important cultural ambassadors.

But there is another way

But not only classical music fans are in good hands in Bonn. There are around 20 companies or initiatives that are anchored as touring agencies, event service providers, educational or training institutions or funding institutions for young musicians as well as local concert organizers.
