Overview
The building land register provides an overview of the available residential building land potential in the urban area. As an instrument of sustainable land management, it takes account of the principle of economical use of land enshrined in the German Building Code by highlighting opportunities for inner-city development.
The City of Bonn's building land register was first drawn up several years ago and has been continuously updated and periodically revised since then.
The building land register of the Federal City of Bonn contains undeveloped residential plots, as well as some underused or only slightly developed plots that can be built on immediately in accordance with the provisions of a development plan or within the built-up districts. Further information on the property and on planning law and infrastructure is also included.
The residential land register does not include commercial sites.
The building land register currently contains a total of 210 vacant lots for the urban area.
