Want to discover even more secret places? Our second tour in this series takes you around Bonn's City Hall. We start underground, in the underground parking garage of Sparkasse Köln/Bonn. There we will show you the remains of the walls of the Heinrich Bastion, which was part of the baroque fortifications from the Middle Ages.
The next stop takes us up high - to the roof of Bonn's city administration building. From a height of 70 meters, your tour guide will explain the structure of the city. At the end, it gets quiet and contemplative again. We visit the Old Cemetery, a green gem in the middle of the city. The St. George's Chapel originally stood in Ramersdorf and was moved to the Old Cemetery in the 19th century. Paintings from the 13th century have been reproduced inside the chapel.
Note: You should be able to walk well to climb up to the roof of the Stadthaus: In addition to taking the elevator to the 17th floor, there are around 70 steps to climb.
