For her solo exhibition "sore arms & french tips", Lola von der Gracht has created a new, site-specific video installation.

In it, we follow the artist on a journey through her past, present and future, becoming part of both her personal and public life. The collage of text and video material allows different levels to merge together. As a first-person narrator, von der Gracht gives us intimate insights into her search for arrival, as if in a diary. In doing so, she draws on the aesthetic means of social media and lets life pass by like an uncontrollable frenzy in which the boundaries between the personal and the collective become increasingly blurred.

Lola von der Gracht is an interdisciplinary artist whose work encompasses photography, collage, installation and performance.

The central theme of her work is the exploration of identity, gender, belonging and community from a queer-feminist perspective.
